Girls dominate at Panhandle! Great race girls! Sorry, I couldn't be there to document the victory. Lily set a course record, and we are talking about a race that has been around for a long time and had a bunch of really good runners compete. I can think of two right now in Zita Maglore from Chiles, and Kara Newell from Maclay. Zita went on to run at Mississippi State and Kara went to Boston University and then FSU.

Now lets talk about team domination. The girls had the top five in the top six. That's amazing! This wasn't a weak field either. Fort Walton, Niceville, Leon and Maclay are tough teams. Here's a good comparison from the 2003 boy's team that won State and was rated in the top 20 nationally.
